SPORTS FIELD – HAUT-RHIN (FRANCE)

Construction of a multi-sports arena in Haut-Rhin (France).

SMC2 has built a 2,304M² covered sports hall using textile membrane on a timber frame with powder-coated steel posts.

Rainwater is drained inside the posts.

Ball-barrier nets have been installed to enhance player comfort.

Two pivoting basketball hoops with electric controls complete the structure.

The sports floor and landscaping were already in place. The courtyard was designed to preserve them, that’s why the posts are angled towards the inside of the building.

The works council’s basketball and handball players can now meet and perform on a fully-equipped indoor sports field in optimum conditions all year round.
