Construction of a temperate gymnasium in Clouange (57).
This gymnasium, measuring 16m x 20m, was built for the Le Grand Ban primary schools in Clouange, France. Integrated into the school building, this dynamic sports hall is used by the schools for the practice of various team and racquet sports.
The building was built with a mixed wood/steel frame. The roofing is made of a textile membrane, as are the upper façades. The gymnasium thus benefits from optimal natural light. The interior facades are made of double-skin metal cladding. The cladding is perforated with insulation for better acoustics.
Everything has been thought out to provide sporting comfort for the schoolchildren.
