Design and construction of an indoor tennis court in Saint Vincent de Tyrosse.
As part of a project to create a large tennis complex, SMC2 built this tennis hall measuring approximately 39m x 36mn, adjacent to a clubhouse. Composed of 2 tennis courts, this structure was designed to ensure the comfort of the sportsman.
Its textile envelope provides the players with natural light thanks to the translucency of the textile membrane: a more pleasant light for the sportsmen and women and more economical for the hall’s operators who thus need less artificial lighting.
The structure has a mixed wood-steel frame. The cladding is made of acoustic double skin. The facades and roofing are made of a textile membrane.
For a unique and aesthetic look, the entire surface of the facades and part of the cladding were screen-printed.
