Construction of a padel hall in Marnes-La-Coquette, France
SMC2 designed and built a hall with 2 covered padel courts and a 250m² dance hall (zumba, yoga, muscle strengthening, cardio…).
This sports building was built with a mixed framework of glued laminated wood and hot-dip galvanised steel. The roof is made of a textile membrane and the facade of polycarbonate.
This construction system allows for a bright indoor padel, offering optimal playing conditions with guaranteed acoustic and thermal comfort. The use of wood limits the environmental impact of the infrastructure while ensuring great resistance.
