TENNIS AND PADEL – SAINT RAPHAËL (FRANCE)

Location SAINT RAPHAËL (83)
COMPLETION DATE 2024
SURFACE AREA 2170.16 M2

Saint-Raphaël is now home to a brand-new indoor sports complex, recently completed, significantly enhancing the region’s offering for racket sports. Covering an area of 2,170.16 m², this modern facility includes three tennis courts and four padel courts, meeting strong local demand.

The complex’s architecture combines elegance and performance, featuring a mixed wood and steel structure. The roof and upper façades are made of tensioned fabric, while the base of the building is constructed with steel cladding. Numerous openings—including a sliding door, double door, picture window, sectional door, and single door—ensure functionality, accessibility, and effective ventilation.

The use of wood in the structure brings a warm, natural aesthetic while delivering excellent mechanical performance and a reduced carbon footprint. The tensioned fabric maximizes natural light, reduces the roof’s weight, and creates a bright, pleasant atmosphere—ideal for sports activities. These technical choices reflect a commitment to sustainable and innovative construction.

Indoor lighting reaches an optimal level of 500 lux, ensuring ideal playing conditions even in the evening, while natural ventilation allows efficient air circulation. The site also features 246.40 m² of modular annexes, including a welcoming clubhouse designed to provide a friendly space for players and visitors alike.
