TENNIS HALL – CAMBO-LES-BAINS (FRANCE)

Construction of a double tennis hall in Cambo-les-bains.

SMC2 has completed the construction of a 1300m2 double tennis hall covered by a textile membrane on a mixed timber and steel framework. The foundations are techno piles.

The facades are made of screen-printed fabric on the upper section and double-skin steel cladding on the lower section. Sliding doors, matching the cladding, were installed to open onto the outside of the building.

Nets were installed at the back of the courtyards and between the courtyards.

To complete the building, SMC2 was also responsible for refurbishing the clubhouse and creating modular locker rooms to complement the two tennis courts. Finally, a canopy was built at the entrance to provide optimum comfort for players.

With the tennis courts now covered, the problem of tennis lessons being cancelled due to bad weather is a thing of the past. Members can play all year round.
