Construction of an indoor boulodrome hall in Stiring-Wendel in France.
SMC2 has completed the construction of an indoor boulodrome hall in Stiring-Wendel, designed to offer pétanque enthusiasts a comfortable, functional, and modern playing environment. This facility reflects a commitment to quality and durability.
The hall spans approximately 30 x 37 meters and includes 16 lanes.
Designed for optimal play year-round, the building features humidity regulation and an air-handling and ventilation system, ensuring consistent comfort for players.
To combine user well-being with seamless integration into the surroundings, the building is clad in double-layer acoustic wood siding. This natural material not only improves sound insulation but also creates a warm, authentic identity.
The structure is built with a double-span framework, ensuring robustness and stability while preserving the quality of the interior space.
The facility also includes over 38 m² of ancillary spaces essential for smooth operation and social interaction:
-
A clubhouse,
-
Changing rooms,
-
A technical room.
Wooden lockers were also installed to facilitate organization and storage for players.
Beyond its technical features, this boulodrome hall is designed as a true community hub within a multi-activity park. It encourages social interaction, fosters sports participation, and provides a modern, durable space that meets the needs of both clubs and the general public.
