Design and construction of a tennis hall in Marnes La Coquette, France
SMC2 has built an indoor tennis hall at the Forest Hill sports complex in Marnes La Coquette, France. The structure is built with timber and roofing of textile membrane. Three facades are polycarbonate on the upper side and wood cladding on the lower side.
Athletes can now train on two covered tennis courts while benefiting from the outside light thanks to the translucency of the textile membrane. This indoor tennis court has been designed to offer optimal playing conditions to players, ensuring a pleasant temperature without overheating and reduced sound levels without resonance.
